This is the first of many pest alerts that you will be seeing this season.  The Granulated Ambrosia Beetles are already active in much of NC. If you have put out traps on your nursery we would like to hear from you.  In any case if you have had a history of these pest causing damage to trees in your nursery you should consider making an application of insecticide to control this pest and reduce your potential losses.
